Corangamite Catchment Management Authority is undertaking an upgrade to the Fyans Park boat ramp along the Barwon River through Geelong in Newtown from Monday 17 to Wednesday 26 June.
The works will improve the safety and condition of the boat ramp for recreational users. The upgrade will include the installation of non-slip mesh to the ramp and upgrades to the decking and grass surrounding the ramp. Once complete, the works will provide improved access and safety for users.
The boat ramp will be closed to the public for the duration of the upgrade works. The Rotary Walking track and the Fyans Park carpark at the end of West Fyans Street will remain open to the public. Pedestrians and cyclists are reminded to slow down when approaching the area.
