About the event

The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is holding a knowledge forum for those interested in the Moorabool River and the various activities being undertaken within The Living Moorabool Flagship project scope.

Starting and finishing at Fyansford Common, participants will be taken via bus to a number of stops within the Living Moorabool landscape.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

 

This is a free event but spaces are limited. Make sure to register below.

 

Speakers on the day include

  • Wadawurrung Traditional Owner Aboriginal Corporation
  • Chris Jones, Senior Research Scientist from the Arthur Rylah Institute discussing their recent study into methods for monitoring vegetation to ascertain the effects of environmental flows
  • Andrew Harrison, Corangamite CMA, will discuss the Kitjarra-dja-bul Bullarto Langi-ut project
  • Citizen Science presentation
  • Deakin PhD student Paulina Gutierrez Ramos will discuss her work in the Moorabool catchment, particularly on farm dams
  • Environmental Water presentation
