Corangamite CMA Waterwatch program presents
An exciting opportunity to brush up on your Water bug Identification and gain accreditation in Agreed Level Taxonomy from “The Waterbug Trust” is on offer for our volunteers.
The training will cover the sampling method for collection of macroinvertebrates, sorting your sample and using the Agreed Level Taxonomy (ALT) method, which has been specifically designed for both citizen scientists and professional scientists to use to collect quality data.
Training and accreditation provided by John Gooderham Freshwater Ecologist.
Lunch will be provided.
What to bring: Wet weather gear, walking boots, water bottle and hat.
