Upper Barwon locals are asked to become citizen scientists for a morning to monitor the health of the East branch of the Barwon River.
A waterbug assessment, measuring diversity and abundance of aquatic invertebrates, will provide a waterway condition score.
All instruction and equipment is provided, no experience is necessary, and data will be added to a national database of waterbugs – National Waterbug Blitz.
