The Corangamite CMA is undertaking pathway reconstruction works along the Barwon River through Geelong from 27th May to 7th June 2024.
The works target a priority section of the shared-use trail in Newtown that is in poor condition and in need of improvement. Once complete, they will provide great improvement to general access along the river reserve.
There will be the temporary closure of a section of the pathway, with no access permitted from 27th May to 7th June 2024.
It is advised that the public plan ahead and find another route for this period if required.
