This project engages small landholders <\/b>and empowers them to become land stewards while adopting environmental management techniques through tailored land management workshops.\u00a0<\/b>The Small Blocks Big Dreams project is being delivered in partnership with local Landcare networks, providing local support and expert knowledge.<\/p>\n
The project will target smaller properties with varied land uses, specifically:<\/p>\n
The project aims to increase landholder skills, knowledge and confidence\u00a0<\/b>in\u00a0natural resource management\u00a0<\/b>and support landholders to implement\u00a0on-ground works <\/b>including\u00a0pest plant and animal control, soil health remediation, native vegetation improvements and more.<\/b> It is also designed to develop landholders into \u2018catchment stewards\u2019 who can act as mentors for their neighbours and local community.<\/p>\n

Expressions of Interest (EOI)<\/strong>\u00a0are open for Bush Blocks Round 2 Workshop Series, hosted by Southern Otway Landcare Network (SOLN). <\/strong><\/p>\n The Introductory Session is open to RSVPs with Paul West from River Cottage Australia featuring at the session on 21 October near Apollo Bay.<\/strong><\/p>\n Click below to submit an EOI.<\/p>\n
