SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE FOR BUSHFIRE IMPACTED COMMUNITIES

January 15, 2026

With extensive bushfire impacts across the state, and some areas continuing to burn in our region, Corangamite CMA acknowledges the devastation caused to communities, landholders and Country.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected and our role includes helping connect landholders with immediate supports available and starting to assess impacts to waterways and catchments.

We would like to thank the incredible CFA and DEECA workers and volunteers who continue to work tirelessly, to protect lives, communities and Country.

Agriculture Victoria is providing critical assistance, including help with urgent animal welfare needs. If you know a farmer who has been impacted by fire and requires immediate support for livestock, contact the VicEmergency Hotline on 1800 226 226.

The Agriculture Victoria Bushfire webpage offers a wide range of practical information on:

• Reporting dead or injured animals, crop loss or damage, or fodder and water needs

• Accessing emergency fodder in fire-affected areas

• Safely disposing of livestock

• Financial assistance and mental health and wellbeing support for you and your family

Download the Agriculture Victoria Resource Directory here

There are a wide range of financial and other assistance options available. Visit https://emergency.vic.gov.au/relief/...

Victorians can also call the Emergency Recovery Hotline on 1800 560 760 for information about payments and recovery programs.
