The Corangamite CMA is pleased to announce the commencement of their new CEO Graham Phelps this week.


Graham has a long-term commitment to and career in natural resource management, park and land management, tourism and regional development. Graham was the Loddon Mallee Regional Director with the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and prior to that he led the Parks and Wildlife Service of the Northern Territory.


He has focused on building partnerships with communities, stakeholders and across all tiers of government to deliver sustainable environmental, economic and social outcomes.   He has strong executive leadership experience with a proven record of leading organisational and cultural change, empowering staff and improving service delivery.


Graham Phelps, CEO of the Corangamite CMA said “I am excited to be joining such an important regional organisation that brings great science and passionate individuals, community groups and organisations together to deliver great catchment and environmental management outcomes. I’m looking forward to working with the team, the local community and our partners to increase the level of involvement and investment to continue to improve the health of our catchment and to support sustainable, healthy and prosperous communities in the region.”
